21st Century's longest solar eclipse happened on January 15 2010. This is the first solar eclipse on 2010 and this ring type solar eclipse will again occur after 1033 years. In Tamil, this is called "Kangana Sooriya Grahanam". Kanganam means Ring. I wanted to watch this historic event of sun, so I made a setup in my backyard to watch this live.

Took two white cardboards (Two pieces of a garment box). Made a pin hole in one cardboard and stood in a position so as to let the sun light pass through it. Place the other cardboard in floor in a position so that the shadow of the box in hand falls over it. And here is the output!
